Travelin' Bag

Posted in by Jennifer L. Reynolds | Edit
So, some of you may know that I've been very into sewing purses lately. This is my latest that I made to take on our trip. None of the other purses I've made had any type of closure so you could essentially reach in and snag something out of it if you so desired. This one, however, has a big flap and some magnetic closures so no one can reach into it without my knowledge. To date, I've only made 2 baby blankets and 4 purses--all purses made with my own pattern and not store bought ones. I'm not a great sewer but I've definitely gotten better. This purse is my best to thus far. Enjoy. P.S. Sorry, the images are in reverse order....I keep forgetting that this thing does that. lol...I'll get the hang of that eventually. Oh, you should be able to click on any of my images to enlarge them and get a better view.

Anyways, The end (as Seth would say). lol

This is a detail of the back..I decided I wanted to have one big pocket in the back so I could slip a magazine or map into it without having to open up the bag.

Strap Detail

This is designed to sling over the shoulder/across the chest
